Have you ever been ask to provide an audit of a specific installed software?

Our SCCM 2012 Software Inventory reports shows installed software on your devices using Asset Intelligence data.

This product gives access to 2 distinct reports :

  • Installed Software – Overview : This reports shows a count of a specific software installed on devices. You can enter the desired software or scope it using a collection. (How many Adobe products on my Workstations computers?)
  • Installed Software – Details : By clicking on a number on the Overview report, you are sent to the Details report which shows all machines names and related information. (See the Screenshots tab to see example of it)

Note : Many companies do not standardize their own naming products. We recommend the usage of custom labels in Asset Intelligence to enhance data quality of theses reports.

Can you tell me how to add the collection IDs of the system names returned in the Installed software “Details” report?
I would like it to return what collections the clients are in within the same report.

Hi, we bought the SCD Complete bundle but I can’t seem to get the Asset Installed Software with custom … / Asset – Installed software / … overview to work
It doesn’t seem to matter what U out in the search box i.e. “Microsoft”, “%”, “adobe”, “office” etc etc I only get a red cross with “No Result found”

put a fresh spin on a topic which has been discussed for years.
    Excellent stuff, just great!

      Hi Mike,

The character in SQL for “all” is %. Try adding this character in the search field.

      Hi Alejandro,

Yes it is possible to do it. However, the report will need a minimum of modification.

      Thanks

Hi Michel, make sure the users that run the report have enough access (select in this case) on vworkstationstatus view. You can verify with SQL studio management.

      Let us know.
      Thanks
