The New Outlook experience has been around for some time and offers most features in comparison to the classic Outlook.

There are 2 sides to the New Outlook.

  • Replacing the default Mail app that has been available since day 1 of Windows 10
  • Replace Classic Outlook, which is part of the Microsoft 365 Apps suite.

The new Outlook experience is not to be confused with the New Outlook for Windows.

To replace the default Mail app, it can be found in the Microsoft Store, but most likely, you have already run the update.

To replace the Classic Outlook of the Microsoft 365 Apps suite by the New Outlook, it can be manually turned on at the top right of Microsoft 365 Apps – Outlook.
