List of SCCM Comanagement Capabilities Values

Moving your devices to the cloud is many organization priorities. Since the release of SCCM 1710, you can decide which feature is managed by SCCM or Intune. This is great as you can now move more workloads allowing a smoother transition to Intune. SCCM Comanagement has evolved a lot since SCCM 1710 and the SCCM Comanagement Capabilities Values have changed values. This post aims to list all possible values on an SCCM 2111+ clients.

Each workload is assigned a specific numerical value, referred as the capability number. This value can be easily viewed in the ConfigMgr control panel applet and the CoManagementHandler.log file.

Now you may wonder why you probably have a numeric value different than that. Keep reading.

SCCM Comanagement Capabilities Values Explained

The reason is that each workload value must be added up to attain their final value. For example, the value 12541 in SCCM co-management state indicates that the device has comanagement enabled and that Intune is managing some workloads while SCCM still manages others.

To get to 12541, you need to take each value of the above table and add their value to 8193 which is the base number :

• 12541 = CoManagement Enabled (8193) +Client_Apps (64) + Device_Configuration (8) + Endpoint_Protection (4128) + Office_Click2Run_Apps (128) + Resource_Access_Policies (4) + Windows_Update_Policies (16)

Here’s the “minimum” and the “maximum” values :

• 8193 would be “no workload has been moved to Intune” (all slider to SCCM)
• 12543 would be “all workloads have been moved to Intune” (all sliders to Pilot Intune or Intune)
